Section 3: Feature Articles; columns, soft news, topics you enjoy (that is where you start)

Section 4: Interviews

Section 5: Sports Articles: all the ins and out, scores, updates and standings.

Section 6: Classifieds

Section 7: Editorials and Letters to the Editor; this is where you get to express your opinion in a formatted manner.

The Branding Iron Process - how we do things at PV

  1. Commit to a topic and see it through
  2. Write the rough drat
  3. Have peer edit it (you read it out loud to them and they read it out loud to you)
  4. Make changes
  5. Let some time pass, and re-read it word for word yourself.
  6. Share it through Google Docs (wnichols7@gmail.com)
  7. I will edit, make a decision if it will go i the Plateau Valley Times or the Branding Iron.
